THE BSBand RESIDENCY AT THE
Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art
OCTOBER 14-17, 2021
Live music is back (hold breath here), and BSB is thrilled to have the opportunity to jump into the action with a 4-night residency at the Philadelphia Mausoleum of Contemporary Art, Oct 14-17. A different band will be sharing the bill with us each night. Joining us Thursday Oct 14 are Jon Smith’s Voyages, on Friday Oct 15 theatrically influenced Upholstery opens. Philadelphia’s own improvisational chamber music ensemble, Space Whale Orchestra is on Saturday Oct 16, and finally our neighborhood friends, the pop-centric Plans to Sand, for our (Delta-dependent) family friendly matinee show on Sunday Oct 17.
Per venue policy, all attendees must show proof of vaccination and wear a mask at the show. Negative Covid tests will not be enough for entry. Sorry folks, this damn pandemic ain’t over yet.

Live Cinema! “An Artist Conversation”
Presented as part of the 2021 Philadelphia FringeArts Festival, “An Artist Conversation” is a film about the real-life challenges of being an artist. Featuring Mecca Akbar and members of the band, “An Artist Conversation” blends interviews, candid footage, and live music to create a unique cinematic experience.
